Christopher!
Chris, a 29 year old psychiatry resident, currently lives in Norfolk, VA. He was born in Delaware and raised all over the place, but spent most of his formative years in Florida.
While at college in Chicago, Chris double majored in Biology and Psychology, served as an RA, and founded a beach volleyball club still running today. He remained in Chicago for an additional year to complete his MBA in International Business and Marketing, studying abroad in Thailand, Italy and Greece. He then attended Touro University in San Francisco and New York. Near the end of his medical school career, he traveled to South America to visit four countries with his friend Vu.
On the second day of the Inca Trail, at the base of the 14,000 foot summit named, “Dead Woman’s Pass,” he met Kimi. Kimi caught his eye because, as he later stated, "Who else would sport skin tight jeans contrasted with a professional baseball cap while hiking thousands of feet above sea level?" Days later, he miraculously tracked her down at a hole-in-the-wall bar in Cuzco. A distance relationship founded solely on communication began to grow that evening. The rest is history.
Chris is a Naval Officer and a Psychiatry Resident at the Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth. His congenial and outgoing personality last year awarded him the honorable title of Mr. Vice (comedic emcee) at the Navy Intern Dinner. He once cut the sleeves off his scrubs because it “was more comfortable that way.”
Chris’s passions include beach volleyball, running, traveling and spending time with friends and family. He is passionate about everything he does, and he does a bit of everything. He also loves flying back and forth across the country to visit Kimi. |
